Your Path to Adventure

Finding us is a breeze. If you’re traveling from the Cradock or Port Elizabeth direction, follow the N10 to Cookhouse and take the Somerset East turnoff onto the R63. Drive through Somerset East and continue to Pearston. Once in Pearston, turn right onto the last street and head down the “Coetzeesberg” gravel road, located at coordinates S 32°34.222′ E 25°07.753′.

OR

If you’re approaching from the Graaff-Reinet side on the N9, take the Pearston exit on the R63. Drive for 75km and enter Pearston. Turn left onto the first street and access the “Coetzeesberg” gravel road at coordinates S 32°34.222′ E 25°07.753′.

Choose Your 4X4 Adventure

We offer three exciting 4X4 routes to cater to your preferences:

Route 1: This route takes approximately 5 to 6 hours to complete with a 4X4 vehicle and 3 to 4 hours with a trail motorcycle.

Route 2 (Olievenfontein): Expect to finish this route in 3 to 4 hours with a 4X4 vehicle or about 2 hours with a trail motorcycle. It’s a less demanding route covering 25km (15.5mi) across Jan Troskie’s farm, featuring scenic terrain and a steep ascent to Olievenfontein.

Route 3 (Vlakfontein): Allow 4 to 5 hours for this route with a 4X4 vehicle or approximately 2 to 3 hours with a trail motorcycle. This route offers steep sections and covers about 30km (19mi) across the farms of Tjoeks van Niekerk. Enjoy bushman drawings, panoramic views, and even a 4X4 obstacle course at the summit. The return journey winds through Viljoenshoek.
