The Nyala, a striking spiral-horned antelope, graces the woodlands and savannas of Southern Africa with its elegance and distinctive features. These captivating creatures are known for their remarkable appearance and enchanting presence in the wild.

Nyala males, in particular, are characterized by their impressive spiral horns, which can reach lengths of up to 88 centimeters (35 inches). They have a dark brown to grayish coat adorned with white vertical stripes on their sides and striking facial markings.

Standing at around 90-120 centimeters (35-47 inches) tall at the shoulder, they possess a graceful and slender build.

Nyala are primarily browsers, feeding on leaves, shoots, and various vegetation found in the woodlands and thickets they call home
