Firearms & What You Need To Know
For any of the Big 5 the law requires a minimum caliber of .375″.
For plains game any caliber from .270″ upwards will be suitable.
Shots range from close shots in brushy conditions to fairly long shots – up to
250 meters on open plains – so a good variable scope is recommended.
Should you plan to do some bird shooting, a 12-gauge shotgun is recommended.
Firearms can also be hired by prior arrangement.
