Majestic Giants of the African Savanna

The Cape Eland, renowned as one of the largest antelope species on the African continent, embodies strength and majesty in the vast savannas and grasslands.

These magnificent creatures, characterized by their imposing size and striking spiral horns, are native to various regions across Southern and Eastern Africa.

Cape Elands possess a distinctive appearance, with a tan to grayish-brown coat that may occasionally display faint white stripes.

Their impressive stature is notable, standing at approximately 1.4 to 1.7 meters (4.6 to 5.6 feet) tall at the shoulder and weighing between 450 to 1,000 kg (992 to 2,205 pounds).
