The Common Reedbuck, a medium-sized antelope, is a native inhabitant of the African grasslands and wetlands.

Common Reedbucks are characterized by their reddish-brown to grayish-brown coats, with males boasting striking twisted horns that can measure up to 45 centimeters (18 inches) in length.
They stand at approximately 60-90 centimeters (24-35 inches) tall at the shoulder and weigh around 50-95 kilograms (110-209 pounds).
Their unique coloration and gentle eyes make them easily recognizable.
These herbivores are well-adapted to the grassy plains and wetlands they inhabit, where they feed primarily on grasses and other vegetation.
