Africa’s Majestic Grassland Icon
The Roan Antelope, a symbol of grace and power in African grasslands and savannas, is a magnificent herbivore.
With imposing size, striking reddish-brown to grayish coats, black and white facial markings, and white eye patches, they stand tall at 120-140 cm and weigh 220-300 kg.
Both males and females boast slightly curved horns measuring up to 90 cm.
Predominantly grazers, they feed on grasses and vegetation in their habitats. Keen senses and alertness help them detect potential threats.
Often found in small family groups, Roan Antelopes enrich African grasslands, symbolizing the grandeur of the continent’s wildlife.
